Resting Rock Research (RRC) was established in Western New York (State of New York) in the United States in 2022 with a focus on scientific research in the fields of environmental radioactivity and spatial data analysis.
RRC previously operated as Resting Rock Consulting (1998-2021) and provided website design and software localization services (Japanese-English) to clients in multiple states in the U.S. and in other countries.
Following the earthquake and tsunami and the nuclear accident that occurred in 2011 in Japan, the owner of RRC became involved in environmental radioactivity research, utilizing geographic information systems technology and statistical methods, and decided to re-establish RRC as a research-focused entity.
With these unique combinations of experiences, RRC provides research assistance in the specified fields specified on the Research page and professional assistance in science document translation and general localization project support.
